| How does it compare to rubbing compounds? |
|
| Scratches are caused by the sharp edges of scratches reflecting light back into your eye. Rubbing compounds work by rubbing off the sharp edges from the scratch, leaving a smoother edge, so the scratch is less visible. Unfortunately you then have a thinner layer of clearcoat, which will leave the color coat more vulnerable to the next scratch. 5PD Scratch Treatment works by adding a layer of advanced polymer in the scratch, which hardens into a smooth, durable coating. This adds protection back where the car has been scratched, making future scratches less likely to cause serious damage. |

| How to use |
|

Apply in the shade. Wash and dry the repair area. Put a small amount of the product on a clean paper towel. Wipe on in a circular motion, and then wipe off any excess. Any excess product may harden and remain on the surface. Recap the bottle immediately to prevent the contents from hardening.
Leave the car in daylight. The brighter the sunlight the faster it will harden. It will still harden in the shade or on a cloudy day, however it will be slower. Make sure to protect from water and dust until hardened.
